1 Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the Beaver Driver mobile application operated by Beaver Rides Limited Liability Company (“Beaver Rides,” “Company,” “we,” “us”). Beaver Driver is a companion app for drivers and delivery partners who provide rides and delivery services through the Beaver Rides platform.

2 Scope

This page is the Privacy Policy for the Beaver Driver app listing on Google Play and the Apple App Store. It supplements our full platform policy for riders and the website. If you also use Beaver Rides (the rider app), see the full Privacy Policy.

3 Information we collect

• Account and identity — name, username, email, phone / WhatsApp, profile photo, and login credentials.
• Driver documentation — license, identity documents, vehicle registration, insurance, and other materials you upload for approval.
• Precise location — real-time GPS while you are online or on an active trip, including in the background (see below).
• Trip and activity data — offers received, accepted, or declined; routes; timestamps; earnings; ratings.
• Device information — device type, OS, identifiers needed for reliability and security, and diagnostic logs.

4 Location data (including background)

Beaver Driver collects your precise location to:

• Match you with nearby trip or delivery requests;
• Provide navigation to pickup and destination;
• Share your live location with the matched rider or customer during an active trip;
• Continue matching and trip tracking when the app is in the background or not in use, only while you choose to be online or are on a trip.

Android permissions used: ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, and ACCESS_BACKGROUND_LOCATION. Background location is not collected when you are offline. You can revoke location permission in system settings at any time; going offline also stops location collection for matching.

Before Android requests “Allow all the time,” the app shows an in-app disclosure explaining this use and asks for your affirmative consent.

5 How we use information

We use Driver information to verify eligibility, connect Drivers with riders and customers, enable navigation and trip tracking, calculate fares and earnings, provide support, maintain safety, improve the Service, and comply with legal obligations.

6 Sharing

During an active trip, your real-time location and limited trip details are shared with the matched rider or customer for pickup and tracking. We may share data with service providers who help operate the platform (hosting, messaging, maps, analytics) under contracts that limit use to providing those services. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect safety and the rights of Beaver Rides, Drivers, or riders.

7 Your controls and retention

You may go offline at any time to stop location collection for matching, update account and document information in the app, and request account deletion by emailing legal@beaverrides.com. Certain trip and transaction records may be retained where required for legal, tax, safety, or dispute-resolution purposes.
